Baptist Collegiate Ministry

Baptist Collegiate Ministry

BCM is the ministry of Southern Baptist Churches to the University of Tennessee’s students and campus. We have a twofold mission to disciple those students that are believers and to share the gospel with those that don’t know Christ.

We have weekly worship, prayer, small group Bible studies and a fellowship meal. We also have many special events from Welcome Week activities to Tailgates that we sponsor for the students at UT. These events open doors to relationships and sharing the gospel.

Church Partnership

photo on our website 3We are a ministry of the local churches and encourage all of our students to be involved in a local church. Local churches can partner with us to reach students and minister no matter what the size of their congregation.
Churches have many resources that help BCM. First sending their students to us when they come to college. Second providing funding to minister. Third is volunteering church resources such as building space for events or transportation for mission projects and even food for events.

How to Get Involved

photo on our website 2The best way to get involved is to call the BCM at 546-8272 and speak with Campus Minister, Rodney Norvell about your giftedness and ways that you might be led to help students. Our website also lists volunteer needs at the BCM.  http://www.utbaptist.org/
